Walking the Floor Over You... (Part One)

Today we installed the flooring.  It was a lot easier than we thought it would be.  We had already cleared the floor of nails and screws...  Then we filled in any holes in floor with foam insulation.  We then leveled areas with floor patch.  Cut out the flooring and installed.  Baseboards are next!  Link below is where we purchased the flooring

Compartments For The Safekeeping :)

Last week I sanded and painted the kitchen cabinets.  So far we have installed the upper cabinets.   I did prime the cabinets before I painted them.

I knew I wanted to paint the cabinets the color of these canisters that I have had for awhile.  I decided just to paint the doors, that way if I ever want to change the color it is easier than re-painting the whole cabinets.
I always have left over paint so I decided to try and match it myself.  I think I did pretty good...

Pretty close

The cabinets are not real wood so I had to sand them... I think I put 3 coats of paint..  I expect it will scratch easy, but it is after all a camper.. a few scratches are okay :)

A before and later... can't wait for the AFTER

Silver Screen

I finally finished the screens for the trailer... this was NOT a fun job.  Happy to be done..... :)

I did all the windows and door with this amount.

I bought new spline to use where needed

Used the old spline where I could

Finished window
I bought these to go in the windows that had the screen frames missing.  I ended up taking them back.  The picture below shows a little ridge that I used to secure the screen

The two windows missing the screen frame has small holes where screws were.  I am okay with them showing.  By doing it this way I saved around $50

Showing screen frame on left.  No frame on right
Screens are up

Screens are up
Finished screen

And we are DONE!!!!!!
