And we are DONE!!!!!!
So a few months back we finished our trailer and started the process to get tags and title.. the start of the process is here
We sent in the weight slip, photo of the trailer, photo of the metal tag with the VIN#, bill of sale, all paperwork from court house and the 68A inspection. We were told that if the paperwork wasn't exact they would send it back and of course they did. We sent a copy of the 68A and they needed the original. So we sent in the original and all paperwork We received a letter stating we needed to get a Bonded title in the amount of $6000.00 or have the country clerk hold a hearing to approve the Title.

Title/Tags- It begins.........
We are in the process of getting a Bonded Title for our trailer. Tuesday we took the trailer to be inspected for a new Vin #. We think we have a Vin#
However there has been no record found. So we are off to see the wizard. Prior to the inspection we had to have the trailer weighed and did a little paper work.
The inspection office only inspects trailers Tuesday's and Thursday's 8:30 to 10:30 then 1:30 to 3:30 and we are 1.5 hours away..
We went Tuesday and the trip over was uneventful, which is always good :)
Rain coming
Guess what... they used the numbers that we thought were the Vin# !! Yeah! The whole process was only about 5 minutes total..
Stopped for dinner on the Lake

And we had to drive home in the rain
We made it home safe and sound!! Next step is getting more forms from the court house and sending off to Waco to get Bonded Title...

Maiden Voyage
We did it!!!!!!!!!!
When we bought the trailer the end of December we really wanted my birthday weekend (August 2) to be the maiden voyage.. and it worked out!!! We decided to just stay close to home 1.5 hours away at an RV park near The Woodlands. We decided to stay at the www.woodlandlakesrvpark.com.
The drive to the RV park was a bit stressful for me.. this was our first time with the new tires and driving it this far. We made it fine and set up was only 25 minutes.
The welcome kitty
Th RV park has little ponds with black -bellied whistling ducks. They were fun to watch and listen to
We were a small fish in a big pond.
First breakfast in trailer :)
We did a little Birthday shopping/eating :)
Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake (Cheesecake Factory)
We had a WONDERFUL time.. our next stay will be in a State Park which we prefer but this was a great first time out.
Heading home
The drive home was so much better (my nerves) we had no issues and it was smooth sailing..riding... :)
Sunset when we arrived home:)
Ready for the next adventure...
